Workshop on Menstrual Health and Waste Management
π July 2022Gaja Conservation Trust organised a workshop on menstrual health on 23rd July 2022 at Mangala School, Bandipur. A hygiene expert from Honnavar led the half-day session for girl students and their caretakers, focusing on essential health, hygiene, and wellbeing topics.

World Elephant Day Celebration
π August 2022On World Elephant Day, GCT conducted an awareness programme for tribal and village children in a school close to Bandipur Tiger Reserve. The session explained elephant conservation and the role elephants play in maintaining ecosystems in a simple, accessible way for young learners.

School Kit Distribution β Golur, Nagarahole
π 2022Based on a request from the Golur tribal school, GCT, with support from its donors, donated basic items required for tribal children. Golur haadi is a tribal settlement inside Nagarahole National Park, where access to educational resources is limited.
